We celebrated 1000 Cups of Tea Day with the ladies at our Women’s Ministry devotional gathering, along with firefighters from near our Corps.

Sharing cups of tea, the Word of God, and our thankful hearts through prayer made it such a meaningful and special day. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and show appreciation to those who serve our community.

❤️🌸 HIc Women’s Ministry Valentine’s Day Gathering 🌸❤️

What a beautiful time we had at our Valentine’s Day themed monthly gathering! 💕

We were blessed to listen to Captain Shinyoung’s devotional from John 3:16, reminding us of the greatest love of all — God’s unfailing love for us. ✝️💖

After being encouraged by the Word, we enjoyed fun games filled with laughter, sweet fellowship over lunch, and meaningful conversations during our committee meetings.

We are especially excited about launching our Women’s Ministry Committee Meetings and all the wonderful plans ahead! God is moving, and we can’t wait to see how He continues to grow and strengthen our sisterhood.

THRIVE LOCAL OFFICERS’ TRAINING
February 6-8, 2026

Last weekend, ten of our HIC local officers and soldiers had a truly blessed and inspiring experience at the THRIVE Local Officers’ Training at Camp Hoblitzelle!

Through powerful worship sessions and enriching workshops, we experienced the moving and power of the Holy Spirit in a fresh and meaningful way. It was a time of renewal, encouragement, and vision for the work ahead.

We are especially proud to celebrate two special moments:
✨ Our Assistant CSM, Cecilia Dube, received the Local Officers’ Spotlight Award — well deserved!
✨ Our YPSM, Elmer Torres, was officially installed as the Texas Divisional Sergeant Major. What an incredible honor!

We thank God for His faithfulness and for the opportunity to grow, serve, and lead together. THRIVE truly lived up to its name!

Last Wednesday’s HIC Women’s Ministry devotional meeting was such a blessing!

We were so wonderfully surprised by our Women’s Ministry Treasurer, Flor Patino, who beautifully decorated the room with a Valentine’s Day theme and thoughtful gifts for everyone. Her love, creativity, and servant heart made the evening even more special and meaningful.

Thank you, Flor, for blessing us in such a sweet and generous way! 💕 We are so grateful for you and for the beautiful fellowship we share together.

We are so thankful for what God is doing through our HIC youth 💙

Since last November, our HIC youth have been faithfully participating in the Refugee ministry every Wednesday, helping and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with refugee kids from Afghanistan. What a blessing it is to see relationships being built and Christ’s love shown through service and compassion.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Life Tree Ministry, who have been serving our community through this ministry for so many years. This work is truly priceless and so precious. Please continue to pray for the kids, the youth, and everyone involved in this beautiful ministry.
