I often share with my husband and I've said on previous LIVEs that God had me documenting my 'single' journey for ten years...and there are posts like the one below which come up as part of my 'God's manifestation' journey.

Ladies...wait on God's chosen man for your life!!
Men...wait on God's chosen woman for your life!!

Why is it SO important to wait on God's choice for your mate? Because that choice has a direct impact on your life...your house...your children...your future!

1 Corinthians 15:33 reads "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals'". This means you could have the best intentions, heart, spirit, mind & soul...and the wrong person can corrupt it all. Your mate is a life or death...blessings or curses kind of choice. The way to make sure it's a life/blessings choice is to let God do the choosing! But don't settle for Mr. or Miss Right Now because you get lonely, impatient or tired of waiting. You are worth the wait!!!

Make sure you keep the wrong person out. Otherwise you may end up losing more than you think!!

Let me say that one more time...

God...is NOT...the author of confusion!

If you are constantly asking where you stand? Go stand with someone else. If you are always asking where you fit in their life? Don't force it. If it's God-sent, it won't leave you in a constant state of questioning! If someone is serious about you, the effort will be consistent and clear. There will be peace. There will be clarity about your destination. Don't accept less!

You can't put a crown on a clown and expect a king! Or a queen!! 👑🤡🎪

Tis the season for the circus. I've been conversing with this single Christian in the faith. She was talking to a guy. The guy was looking to push them into a relationship. He claimed she was special enough to marry. He wanted them to move in together. Make her bank account his (and he asked for money). After three weeks. I told her that's a circus worth of red flags 🚩🚩. She didn't believe me. But I told her to tell him that she was NOT going to lay with ole boy until after marriage then.

He...changed...on...a...DIME.

He started picking fights for no reason. He got real distant. Until he finally stopped answering her. Her heart took the hit. She gave me permission to share this.

This guy showed up in her inbox at the beginning of January. And just like that, the clown emerged. You cannot put a crown on a clown in hopes of changing those clown qualities into king qualities.

My fellow singles in the faith, be mindful during this time. The clowns will show up. Save the crown for a king devoted to the King of Kings. Same for the queens! Find a Proverbs 31 woman! Wait for the REAL. And don't sweat it if they drop out of your life. Consider that God's protection.

True story...

A Single Christian woman met a guy. He seemed on the up and up. Man of God. All that. Prayed about their purpose and they seemed to align. The woman tho was lead not to reveal certain things until the ring 😂. Her words. Mostly about her wealth and her status in certain circles.

After dating a few months, it seemed things were on track. And out of no where, the guy switched like a light! He went from kind to mean. From interested to not. She said the revelation came after a lot of praying to God about the intent of the man's heart, and God answered. You see, the woman knew God would not place her in the hands of someone that shouldn't be there. That is the kind of trust you must have in God when it comes to people. Your expectation MUST be in God! When God says no? Your contentment MUST be in God. The woman wasn't rejected! Given all she was bringing to the table, she was protected! Thank God for protection!! She will still hold off on revealing certain things til the ring 💍, while continuing to trust God. And most certainly, God will redirect her to something BETTER.

My fellow singles in the faith, with V day drawing closer and closer, be mindful of people trying to get over or manipulate...with no intention of returning what you are bringing to the table! Starting with your heart! God's best is worth the wait! YOU are worth the wait for the real! Don't accept less !

This morning, I talked to many who are going thru. In fact one of them sent a simple text that said 'It'll never get better and I want to die.'

I allowed her to vent and realized she needed more than just the customary, 'Praying for you' or 'It'll get better'. Another friend was also dealing with a breakup and sometimes people need more than just the good-ole spiritual fluff or judgment because he's tired & feels hopeless. They need love in action. Thanks to my friend who boldly spilled his heart & spoke those words in his brokenness.

Then I realized I was crying. I was broken. I am dealing with the same things they are...and God sent someone to cover me. We will get thru this.

My beautiful singles in the faith, my friends in Christ...love you all.

The truth is stuff happens in this life. The truth is the Word said trials are aren't strange or unusual!! They are there for a purpose!! The truth is He is our strength in weakness! We can't do it alone. That in itself should be cause for joy in spite of the tears and frustration.

Trusting God when you want to run & praising Him in the storm is the deepest level of reverence you can pay to God...because everything around you says there's nothing to praise Him for. I told my friends take a breath!! Start with thanking Him & praising Him for that...and go from there. I made them laugh (because a merry heart does good like a medicine). I encouraged them and encouraged myself lol!!

If you're going thru you are not alone. And there is hope for a better day as long as you choose joy when you have no other reason but that breath you just took.

'Maybe it's just me...'

The holiday season can be particularly lonely. Especially if you are a single Christian. God should've moved by now, right?

Have you ever thought...maybe it's just me. Maybe that's why I'm still single. Maybe that's why everyone else seems to have someone and I'm still single.

It IS you!! It's your value!! It's your worth!! It's the fact that God treasures you too much to yield your heart and love to just any old body!! You are worth the wait, fellow singles in the faith. Focus on the journey. Focus on good food and friendships. Focus on all that you have to be thankful for, including the fact that God has designed someone special just...for...you.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Keep the faith!! Choose joy!!
