KHS SCHOOL SUMMER BHAJAN AND GITA CLASSES
KHS school will be offering Gita and Bhajan classes in the summer for kids.
Both classes will be on Sundays from 11 AM till 12:45 PM
Classes will start Sunday, 04-Jun-2023 and continue until end of August.
Gita class will focus on Gita-Dhyanam as the first step towards the study of Srimad Bhagavat Gita for children. The class will consist of chanting, meanings and some homework. Gita class will be taught by Dr. P. R.
Hariharan.
In the Bhajan class children will be learning an assortment of shlokas and bhajans of various Hindu Gods in Sanskrit, Malayalam and Hindi. The children will also learn some patriotic songs. Bhajan class will be taught by Dr. Sudha A. Hariharan.

Deadline for registration 28-May-2023. There is no cost for this class.

Our first seva inspired food and clothing drive is concluding this month. Our Krishna Kares drive has collected a few filled containers of clothes and good.

Please donate at boxes that we have left around temple community hall. This effort is being run by our students to help our community and instill the virtues of Seva. We will be conducting drive through the end of February , and food will be donated to Houston Food Bank (Nonperishable food items). Our clothing will be donated to a local charity that our students are selecting based on good turned in for clothes (gently used) .
