This week, St. Vincent de Paul had the pleasure of hosting The Periwinkle Foundation Day Camp, a week-long summer program for children ages 7-12 who are undergoing treatment at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center in the heart of Texas Medical Center.

The Periwinkle Foundation provides programs that positively impact the lives of children, young adults and families facing cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Through a continuum of camps, arts, and survivor programs, Periwinkle accompanies children and their families from diagnosis, through treatment, and into remission.

In appreciation of our parish’s continued support, children and representatives from the foundation presented Fr. Sean with a commemorative plaque recognizing SVDP’s partnership in hosting the camp since 2020.

We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome these children and their families to our campus and to support the inspiring mission of The Periwinkle Foundation. 💜

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

On June 11, our parish gathered in prayer for a Holy Hour as part of the U.S. Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

As we celebrate this feast, may we renew our trust in the boundless love and mercy of Christ, entrusting both ourselves and our nation to His Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, burning with love for us, make our hearts like unto Thine. 🇺🇸❤️🙏

This is VBS at St. Vincent de Paul. 🦜💚💛🐸

Vacation Bible School 2026 officially kicked off June 8, welcoming campers in prekindergarten through fifth grade for a week of faith, fun and fellowship. Throughout the week, campers enjoy recreation, music, religious education and Eucharistic Adoration.

This year’s theme, “Rainforest Falls,” invites campers to grow in their relationship with God and discover His love reflected throughout creation.

Registration for Summer 2027 opens mid-February!

Each evening includes Confession at 5:15 p.m., Mass at 6:15 p.m. dinner at 7:15 p.m., and a talk at 8:15 p.m.

On June 7, we celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi—the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 5 p.m. Mass, followed by the Eucharistic Procession and parish picnic. It was a beautiful witness of faith and community as we came together to honor our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

A special thank you to our Knights of Columbus for their hospitality and for preparing hot dogs for our parish families and friends. Your service helped make this celebration even more memorable!
