The Story Church

The Story Church The Story Church is a community of skeptics and believers following Jesus together. Worship online and in-person Sundays at 8:30, 9:45 & 11am.

We strengthen our faith by challenging what is comfortable, inspiring deeper conversations, and pursuing Truth in community. We believe honest doubts can lead to deeper faith, so we never shy away from tough topics and difficult questions. At The Story, we’re committed to loving like Jesus, who was “full of grace and truth.” That’s why, despite all our doubts, differences, and disagreements, we insist that love is the way of Christ. Join us on Sundays for worship in-person or online!

"God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

For part 2 of our current series FAQ: Confronting Controversial Questions about Christianity, a majority of people picked the question "Is same-sex attraction really an abomination?" You can listen to the full message on our Youtube channel or podcast. In it Pastor Eric breaks down three things he used to believe about same-sex attraction and shares why he was wrong.

Lots of reasons to celebrate lately! 💙 We’ve been coming alongside families of all ages recently as they dedicate their lives (or their children’s lives) to Christ through the waters of baptism or infant dedication. If you want to learn more about dedications or baptisms at The Story, send us a message and we’ll share more with you!

This Summer at The Story Church you have the power to select which questions we will address from the pulpit! In our FAQ series, we’ll look to the Bible to answer six controversial questions people ask about Christianity. We hope this series will encourage skeptics and equip believers to “give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” 1 Peter 3:15.

Can we trust the Bible?

For the first week of our new series called FAQ, you all picked the question: With all the translations and changes throughout history, how can we trust that our modern Bible is God’s Word? In this message, Pastor Dilan Braddock walked us through the historical evidence that proves the Bible is the same both then and now, and challenged us to read the Bible through a new lens.

Check out this short clip from the sermon and head to our Youtube channel or podcast to tune in for part one of FAQ!

Check out this incredible video our talented media team created for the Class of 2026! 🎓✨

Earlier this spring, a handful of our seniors sat down to reflect on their years at The Story - sharing unforgettable memories, lessons from their faith journey, gratitude for the parents and leaders who helped shape them, and encouragement for the next generation of students. Many have been part of and our church community since the very beginning, which makes this moment even more special. We’re so proud of these students and the entire Class of 2026!

What are you waiting for?

In the final part of our series on the book of Ecclesiastes, Student Director Ashton Wascom broke down some of the lies we believe around the myth of "follow your heart" and pointed us towards a far better truth: follow God and your heart will be transformed too. Check out the full mesage on our Youtube channel or podcast.

Have you ever gotten something you always wanted? Maybe you chased it for years, working, praying, and paying for it, and once you finally had it, you felt empty and unfulfilled. And so you kept going, chasing, and thinking, “If I only had a little bit more, then I’ll be satisfied.”

But what if that’s a lie? What if the things we’re all chasing were never meant to satisfy us? For six weeks we’ll learn some hard lessons from the book of Ecclesiastes. Written by King Solomon, Ecclesiastes is a cautionary tale about what happens when you get everything you ever wanted and it’s still not enough. With this series, we’ll expose life’s darkest lies by holding them up to the light of God’s truth.
