Thanksgiving ‘25 🦃✨

This year, to celebrate all the things our Chùa is grateful for, we made thankful turkeys! All of our đoàn sinh cut out traces of their hands to make turkey feathers to place on both their mini turkeys and our communal turkey. Each wrote letters about the things they were grateful for this year and were able to take their craft home to show off!

Our Chùa will forever be thankful to our parents for their support, our huynh trưởng for their dedication, and all our other volunteers who help our GDPT run! Thank you for all that y’all do! Happy belated Thanksgiving, from our family to yours! 🥰

This year our GDPT celebrated Halloween to the MAX with a costume contest, trunk-or-treat, and fun games! 🎉 Thank you to all of the parents who decorated their cars, donated, and joined us for this spooky celebration! 👻✨

⟡ ݁ . Tết Trung Thu ‘25 🏮 ⋆˙⟡

Thank you to our friends, family, and community for celebrating Tết Trung Thu with us! 🎉The carnival games were a hit and the performances were absolutely incredible having the crowd cheering and vibing along allll night! 🤩 The energy, lights, and music were through the roof and we ended the night with lion dancing and glowing lanterns which made everything even more magical 🌕✨❤️

After more than a year of heartfelt dedication, our Chùa has finally completed a peaceful new space — a home of rest and remembrance for our loved ones who have passed on. 🕊️

During this year’s Lễ Vu Lan celebration, we were deeply honored to inaugurate our new ash building. With this space, we hope to create a place filled with serenity, love, and gratitude. May it bring comfort to all families who come to remember those they hold dear.

A sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this possible, and to the venerable ones who joined us from near and far. 💛

In the spirit of Vu Lan, we come together to honor the love and sacrifices of our parents and to remember our ancestors. 🌸
This year was especially meaningful as our Chùa celebrated the grand opening of our new ash building — a space of remembrance, peace, and love.🕊️
