Clear Lake Islamic Center (CLIC) was incorporated in 2000 as a non-profit religious organization to promote the practice of Islam and serve the Muslim Community of the Houston area as well as help them to meet their religious obligations. Since its inception, it has sponsored several dawah programs including but not restricted to Texas Dawah Convention.

It is with sadness that we share that the mother of our dear brother, Dr. Naser ElKhalili, passed away today in Amman, Jordan.

Dr. Naser is a beloved member of our community. We will gather for condolences (ʿazā’) tonight at the masjid between Maghrib and ʿIshā’.

May Allah forgive his mother, shower her with His mercy, grant her Jannat al-Firdaws, and give Dr. Naser and his family patience and comfort. Ameen.
