Last summer, what started as an experiment… could two churches come together to pull off one epic week?… turned into the BEST VBS EXPERIENCE in town!

💛WHAT IS AN ACTION GROUP?
A Village Heights Action Group is a gathering of people united around an ambitious cause that both supports our community and collectively takes the individuals involved
on a deeper faith journey. Action Groups provide opportunities to philanthropically engage with others who share your passion to serve!

💛SPRING 2026 ACTION GROUP:
This season, for our first project in 2026, we are partnering with the HITS Theatre; our beloved neighborhood children’s theatre AND the place we are blessed to call home every Sunday morning. As a local nonprofit, has wonderfully served
our Heights community for 45 years!

We will be working to help update and improve this well-loved building and create a more functional and inviting space. Our goal is to support and partner with the HITS as they continue to serve local families and nurture creative kids through productions, camps, and all the magic they bring to the community!

💛FIRST, WE NEED TO RAISE THE FUNDS!
Everyone is invited to a family-fun evening of Bingo benefiting the Village Heights Action Group Fund!

🎯Bingo Cards: $5 each or a book of 10 for $45
🏡Family-friendly, high-energy, and just competitive enough to keep things interesting!

In the last month, during this beautiful holiday season, we have…
💛Organized and distributed Thanksgiving groceries for 200 local families in need
💛Celebrated an incredible year together at our annual Celebration Dinner
💛Hosted an adorable Santa In The Park event for our neighbors
💛Donated the funds to purchase over 300 pairs of new shoes for our friends
💛Purchased, wrapped, organized, and delivered Christmas gifts for 16 local families
💛Enjoyed the sweetest Family Christmas gathering
💛Made sure to celebrate the season with our neighbors at two senior citizen housing facilities
💛And welcomed everyone in as we reflected on the Christmas story as a community

This has been another INCREDIBLE year at Village Heights! And, these last few weeks have truly been the cherry on top!

THANK YOU to every single person, family, and community organization that has joined us in being AUDACIOUSLY GENEROUS with our time, talent, and treasure in 2025! We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in the year ahead!
