This Sunday, March 29th, is a fantastic day to come to church at St. Philip’s UMC! After worship our Eggstravaganza will begin at noon - a fun opportunity to hunt eggs, see friends, do crafts, hear the story of Jesus, and eat! We would love to see you there!

We are excited about worshiping with our neighboring congregations during Holy Week! This week for Palm Sunday the St. Philip’s congregations and Ghana Wesley Methodist Church will worship together at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary. The joy will be palpable. Our Girl Scout Troops will be with us in worship this Sunday and this troop is leading us this week in our efforts to support hunger ministries in our community this Lent! For their bronze award they are collecting items to support animal shelters in our area. We care about all the hungry creatures in our neighborhood, so please bring cat or dog food or cash donations to worship.

If you have been waiting for a cookie hookup, you might bring a little extra cash because one of the other troops will be selling them after church. What do you think are the best Girl Scout cookie?
