Please remember Patty Gaspard in your prayers. She has been admitted to ICU at Methodist Hospital Baytown with blood clots in her lungs. She's in good spirits and would appreciate you remembering her the next few days.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Tony and Karie Nicholson. His mom, who had been living with them, passed away on Monday.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

--A time of fellowship together at 4 p.m.

--Viewing begins at 5 p.m.

--The funeral service is at 6 p.m.

All the events are at Peace Lutheran Church, 6435 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.

This afternoon, our former Senior Warden Mark Hegman slipped into eternity.

Mark recently had heart surgery and died from complications associated with the surgery.

Mark has served St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on the vestry and as Senior Warden on the board. He was a servant always ready to help. He will be sorely missed.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced when they are ready.

Prayers for former Senior Warden Mark Hegman who had open heart surgery last Thursday at Methodist Hospital in The Woodlands. He is having some complications and remains in ICU. Please pray for his recovery.

We've received news that Peg Williams passed away this morning. She had entered hospice recently and was at the hospital.

We pray for her family during this time of mourning. No arrangements to announce just yet.

UPDATE ON DAVID TAYLOR: He came out of his successful bypass surgery at Methodist Hospital Downtown with flying colors. He's currently in A-fib and needs prayers to avoid another procedure to shock his heart.

He is in Methodist Hospital Downtown, Walters Tower, IMU Room 1901.

HERE'S A NOTE FROM CAROLYN DIAL IN FLORIDA AFTER THE STORM:

"We are fine here in DeLand. We were on the east side of the storm. Very little rain & only one tornado warning. Almost a non-event here, praise the Lord. Family members in the Big Bend area where the storm came ashore are all okay too. Such devastation elsewhere. Praying for those affected.
