Join us TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. for “Cake, Coffee, and Conversation,” an opportunity to gather informally with Pastor Brad and members of the Leadership Council to ask questions, share thoughts, and learn more about the life and direction of Clear Lake UMC.
We welcome your questions about the Prune to Grow strategy, the 2026 budget, progress with the HUB Clear Lake, and the path ahead for our church. This is a space for listening, clarity, and shared understanding as we continue to move forward together in faith. No presentations. No speeches. Just conversation.

In response to the ongoing violence in the Middle East, Clear Lake UMC will host a prayer vigil for peace and protection. We will host a prayer service at Noon in the Wesley, then invite members to sign up for hour-long prayer shifts in the Wesley prayer room. At 8:30, we will end with a communal prayer and songs. The Clear Lake UMC Choir has a lot cooking these days. They have been invited to sing at The Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church during the Sevice of Commissioning & Ordination on May 26th. To fund this trip, they are hosting 'O Taste & See' where you can purchase a tasty treat, hear live music, and experience cooking demonstrations all for a good cause! 100 Children, 32 pizzas, 15+ volunteers, 6 character traits, and a 1-mile walk. Character Walk 2026 was a SUCCESS!

CLUMC worked with Clear City Elementary to organize and host their annual Character Walk. Students explored Exploration Green while learning trait of being a good student and a good citizen. And of course, there was PIZZA! Thanks for all you do CLUMC.

What a night! About 50 people from Clear Lake UMC and other area churches walked the streets singing in Spanish and English in solidarity with our neighbors who live in fear. They ended in prayer for peace and the end of fear around the globe. At the same time, more than a dozen CLUMC volunteers hosted 100 Clear Lake City Elementary School kids on their annual Character Walk, learning about the traits that make someone a good citizen. Just one evening, one hour in a day showing how CLUMC Loves God & Loves People.

Join us TONIGHT for the Walk & Sing!

We will meet in the main parking lot at Clear Lake United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 24, at 6 p.m. to practice and learn a handful of simple spirituals in both English and Spanish, and then walk through the neighborhood surrounding CLUMC, offering songs of encouragement and presence as a sign of God’s love and solidarity with all our neighbors. To close, participants will gather in the CLUMC courtyard for a candlelight moment to pray for justice, healing, and peace. Join us in this practical carrying out of the gospel to our community.
