Day 5
2 Corinthians 5:17

The final day of our devotional encourages us to embrace the joy of being new creations in Christ. The scripture reassures us that in Christ, we are no longer defined by our past but set free to live in the fullness of new life. This new identity calls us to identify ourselves through the lens of grace rather than failure, reminding us that every day is an opportunity to live out the truth of who we are in Christ.

How can I remain rooted in my identity as a new creation?
What steps can I take to spread the message of transformation to others?
How can I cultivate a heart of gratitude for the new life I have in Christ?
Pray in gratitude for the new life and identity you have in Christ.
Ask God for opportunities to share your transformation story.
Seek His guidance in living out your new identity daily.

Day 4
Romans 12:1-2

In Romans, Paul calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices and to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Transformation is an active process that requires our participation. It involves surrendering our will and desires to God and allowing Him to reshape our thinking and living. This sets the stage for a life that aligns with His perfect will, enabling us to see life from His perspective rather than our own.

In what areas of my life do I need to surrender to God's transformation?
How can I intentionally seek God's perspective on my decisions?
What mindset shifts do I need to embrace in order to align with God's will?
Pray for the willingness to surrender your life to God.
Ask Him to transform your mind and renew your spirit.
Seek guidance in discerning His will for your life.

Day 3
Philippians 3:13-14

As we reflect on the call to move from grave clothes to grace clothes, we are reminded of Paul’s admonition to forget what lies behind and reach forward to what lies ahead. This powerful reminder encourages us to let go of the past—our successes, failures, and regrets—and set our eyes firmly on the future that God has for us. Each new day is a chance for renewal, a blank canvas waiting to be filled with God’s direction and purpose.

To fully embrace our new life in Christ, we must actively practice letting go. It's easy to dwell on past mistakes or to become defined by our previous identity. Paul’s journey of pressing on teaches us that moving ahead requires intentional focus and determination. God wants us to trust Him to guide our steps as we build a future rooted in Him, where we embody the righteousness and purity that comes from knowing Jesus. Let this be a day of transition, where we declare our commitment to follow Christ wholeheartedly.

What past experiences do I need to let go of to fully embrace my future?
How can I stay focused on God’s purpose as I move forward?
What steps can I take to cultivate a mindset of pressing on?
Pray for the strength to forget what lies behind.
Ask God to give you a fresh vision for the future.
Seek His help in staying committed to the journey ahead.

Let's come out and have a good time.

Day 2
John 11:43-44

The story of Lazarus serves as a powerful reminder that Jesus has the authority to bring life to what seems dead. When Jesus calls Lazarus to come forth, it is a profound demonstration of His power over death, sin, and despair. In the same way, God is inviting us to step out of our "tombs" and embrace the life He offers. We often cling to our past struggles, pain, and shame, wearing them like grave clothes, but Christ is urging us to take them off and walk in freedom.

What grave clothes have I been clinging to that I need to remove?
In what areas of my life do I need to hear Jesus calling me to come forth?
How can I remind myself of the resurrection power available to me daily?
Pray for clarity about what you need to leave behind.
Ask God for the faith to respond to His call in your life.
Seek His guidance in embracing the new life He offers.

Day 1
Ephesians 4:22-24

The journey from "grave clothes to grace clothes" is one marked by the transformative power of Christ. In Ephesians, Paul reminds us that we are called to put off our old selves, which is corrupted by deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of our minds. This renewal process is vital as we learn to align ourselves more closely with Jesus and understand our identity in Him. It's not merely about modifying our behavior, but completely embracing the new creation we are in Christ.

This transformation requires us to actively choose to let go of our past ways of living. Sometimes, this means shedding old habits, mindsets, and even relationships that no longer serve our growth in Christ. We must reflect on what it looks like to clothe ourselves in the truth of who we are now — a new creation, fashioned in righteousness and holiness. As we step into this new identity, we discover the grace and strength that God provides to live out His calling in our lives.

What old habits or thoughts do I need to let go of to embrace my new identity in Christ?
How can I remind myself of my worth in Christ daily?
What practical steps can I take to pursue a renewed mind?
Pray for the courage to let go of what no longer serves you.
Ask God to help you recognize your identity in Him.
Seek guidance to identify steps you can take toward renewal.

Day 4
Psalms 139:23-24

In our fourth day, we focus on the need for self-examination and confession. The act of removing the clay also represents the need to confront those things in our lives that hinder our relationship with God. As the Psalmist writes, we are encouraged to invite God to search our hearts and reveal any offensive ways within us.

True transformation starts with honesty before God. Just as the paralytic had to confront his needs, we must face our own failings without shame. This day challenges you to consider what clay you need to dig through to bring about healing and restoration in your life. Are you willing to confess and release your burdens to God?

What sin might you have been holding onto that needs to be confessed?
How can acknowledging your faults empower your spiritual journey?
What steps do you need to take towards personal repentance?
Pray for the courage to face your shortcomings with God.
Ask for forgiveness and healing from past mistakes.
Reflect on how you can embrace a lifestyle of ongoing repentance.

06/26/2025

Day 3
James 4:8
Today, we delve into the importance of drawing near to God. When the paralytic’s friends made the effort to bring him to Jesus, it was an act of love and determination. James reminds us that when we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. This mutual closeness is essential for spiritual growth and healing.
It’s in the moments we set our earthly distractions aside and earnestly seek God that we truly find Him. As we work to ‘get the clay out of the way,’ let us consider what that means for our relationship with God. Are we creating space in our hearts to receive His presence? What clutters our spiritual living rooms, preventing us from experiencing true intimacy with Him?
What practices can you adopt to draw closer to God?
In what ways does clutter in your life affect your relationship with God?
How can you intentionally make room for God in your daily routine?
Pray for the ability to put aside distractions and connect with God.
Ask the Lord to reveal areas in your life that need cleansing.
Spend quiet time reflecting on your relationship with God.

Day 1
Mark 2:1-12

In today's devotional, we reflect on a remarkable act of faith demonstrated by four men who brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus. Despite the crowd blocking their path, they creatively found a way to lower him through the roof. This story highlights the power of faith and determination in overcoming obstacles. It challenges us to consider what we are willing to do to bring ourselves or others into the presence of Jesus.

This scripture emphasizes that nothing is impossible for God. When we align our faith with action, we create a pathway for miracles in our lives. Just as the friends of the paralytic were intentional and aggressive in their approach to Jesus, we too must push past our doubts and fears to experience God's extraordinary power. Are we willing to dig through the clay of our lives to access the healing and blessings Jesus offers?

What obstacles are currently blocking your access to Jesus?
In what ways can you show faith, like the four men in the scripture?
How do you usually respond to challenges in your faith journey?
Pray about the barriers in your life that need overcoming.
Ask God for the strength to take action when faced with challenges.
Reflect on your faith and how it can lead to healing in your life.
