Just a realization

As I sit here today thinking on the word of God that admonishes us not to lean to our own understanding. I began to visualize the device that is on the door to my apartment building. It was made to use a key card, So if you walked up to the door and used your logic you would automatically say to yourself that you don"t have the means to enter. The truth of the matter is the device is broken and all you would have to do is try the door handle and it would open.
I wonder how many doors God has opened for us but our logic has talked us out of even trying.

When the Lord told me He had something different He wanted to use me for. I was sad but I obeyed. These are people who were there to witness.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things (Rev 21:7)
This passage indicates that we will have to overcome a few things. This means that there will be struggles in our life. If we keep our eyes on the prize and get to the end we will inherit all things. Yes, it can be confusing, tiring, unfair and just plain wrong. If we can remember, God, the Father loves us. He does not do anything in vain. If we are going through He has a purpose. Sometimes He wants to open blinded eyes. Other times He wants to remove things in us that don't look like Him. We were created with a purpose in mind. Life is a journey not a destination. We can choose to set our minds to enjoy the journey or we can make it worse by murmuring and complaining. God gave us "free will" which do you choose?Just something to think about.
