Pastor Karen is hard at work in the Racial Justice Committee. Pray that Justice will roll down like water!

On day two of committee meetings, the Racial Justice Committee turned most of its attention toward RAC-04, which consists of recommendations from the Special Committee on the PC(USA) and Race on various items. Deliberation on this overture will continue into Wednesday and will be followed by the introduction of new business RAC-05, which was added to the docket over the course of the committee meeting on Tuesday. The 227th General Assembly launched this morning with an online plenary of commissioners and advisory delegates helmed by the Rev. Tony Larson and the Rev. CeCe Armstrong. The plenary also saw leadership by the Rev. Jihyun Oh and the Rev. Tricia Dykers Koenig who gathered at the Baird Center in downtown Milwaukee along with a production team.
