2. Our aim is to praise God, therefore, our worship is up-lifting, not down beating

3. We are not a fund-raising committee. We are totally supported by those who are members of this congregation and not through outside donations. What New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church IS:
This congregation is a fun

damental, bible-believing congregation that believes and teaches that the Holy Bible is God's inerrant Word. We are affiliated with the National Baptist USA, Inc. and the Southern Baptist Conventions, but we are not controlled by any convention. The Bible, we believe, is the only guide of conduct and action for the believer. New Bethel was organized on September 10, 1966, under the leadership of Dr. W.H. Dudley and has been situated in this community since September 19, 1973. Our doors are open to all people regardless of race, social or economic standing. We welcome people of diverse cultures. We believe that Jesus Christ Died for the sins of the whole world and He lives today with the Almighty God, the Father, interceding for those who confess HIM to be their Lord and Savior. We are a true Baptist Church, that gives to foreign and home missionaries as our mean allows. Our primary purpose for existing is to tell a lost and dying world about Jesus Christ, the Savior who died on Calvary for the sins of the world. We Believe:
in God as Creator and Sustainer
in the Bible as the infallible, inerrant Word of God
in the Church as an institute of divine appointment
in the virgin birth of Christ
in Salvation through faith, not by works
in the eternal life and eternal damnation
in the priesthood of the believer
in the continuing work of the Holy Spirit
in baptism, by immersion, for all believers
in loyalty to the scriptures for the Church's authority
in the independence of the local Church
in complete separation of Church and state
in the symbolics of the ordinances (Baptism and the Lord's Supper)
