We, as a church, have been helping a homeless couple for the last several months. Even before we began helping them they were faithfully attending. We got them from under a bridge and got them on plan to get jobs, then get them into an apt, and then purchase a car. Once they got jobs they started paying their tithes. Again faithfully. They’ve been at their jobs for about 2 months and met Royce (picture below) who’s living out of his car right now. The guy had been ministering to Royce and eventually invited him out to church today. When Royce met Pastor Archie this morning, Royce told him, crying, that he wanted to get baptized. Because the baptismal pool at the church takes a few hours to fill we decided to do it at a house close by. One of the coolest parts of this story, the guy we’ve been helping blessed Royce with some money and filled his tank after church. This is what our church is about! God is so good!
