Hello, Hornets! My name is Ms. Maria, and this will be my seventh year at St. Ambrose. I received my B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Houston Baptist University, and I am currently working on my teaching certification. When I am not at St. Ambrose, you can probably find me serving at my home parish, Vietnamese Martyrs. I have been a youth leader there for 19 years. I am also the co-director of our youth music ministry Encounter. I have loved my time being the front office manager for the Hive, but I am beyond excited to jump into the classroom this year and continue our choir and theatre programs! Come visit me in third grade 🥰

St. Ambrose School Advisory Board📚

Thank you to Advisory Board members who joined us at St. Peter’s Catholic for our Saturday workshop on June 13th! We appreciated the great turnout and engagement from our school community.

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston welcomes all visitors to our city during the World Cup and invites them to take time to pray and worship with us at our parishes during their visit. No matter where our visitors are staying in the Houston region, they should be in relatively close proximity to one of our 146 parishes. You can find a Catholic church near you online at archgh.org/parishfinder

Of special note, Portugal will be playing two matches in Houston on June 17 and June 23. To welcome and serve those visitors who will be staying in Houston over that weekend, the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (centrally located in downtown Houston) will host a Mass in Portuguese on Sunday, June 21 at 3:30 p.m. All are invited and encouraged to attend this very special celebration of the Holy Mass.
