St. Ambrose School Advisory Board📚

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston welcomes all visitors to our city during the World Cup and invites them to take time to pray and worship with us at our parishes during their visit. No matter where our visitors are staying in the Houston region, they should be in relatively close proximity to one of our 146 parishes. You can find a Catholic church near you online at archgh.org/parishfinder

Of special note, Portugal will be playing two matches in Houston on June 17 and June 23. To welcome and serve those visitors who will be staying in Houston over that weekend, the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (centrally located in downtown Houston) will host a Mass in Portuguese on Sunday, June 21 at 3:30 p.m. All are invited and encouraged to attend this very special celebration of the Holy Mass.

Throwback to an exciting learning adventure in our PK–3 classroom!

Earlier this school year, our PK–3 students dove into an engaging ocean animal research project. Each student selected their favorite ocean animal and became an expert, exploring its habitat, diet, unique characteristics, and what makes it so special.

Our young learners did a wonderful job presenting their findings and sharing their knowledge with confidence and enthusiasm. We are so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and creativity!

Our SAS kiddos had a fantastic time at Soccer Camp at St. Pius X with our St. Ambrose Athletic Director. From sharpening their skills to building teamwork and confidence, these young athletes are giving it their all on the field.

In May, we proudly welcomed back our graduating seniors for our very first **Senior Clap Out**! It was a special moment as they walked the halls of St. Ambrose once again, surrounded by the cheers, applause, and admiration of our students, teachers, and staff.

Congratulations to all of our seniors on reaching this incredible milestone! We are so proud of your hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments. As you graduate from high school and prepare to begin the next chapter of your journey in college and beyond, know that your St. Ambrose family will always be cheering you on.
