Good morning my friends
Did you know that expressing gratitude has shown to improve mental health by reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety while lowering stress levels. Research indicates that expressing gratitude to others can reduce depression by 41% and anxiety by 38% within three months. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10902-020-00261-5

Expressing gratitude lowers cortisol levels and increases dopamine levels in the brain. 🧠
What does scripture say about gratitude?
📖This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24
📖Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.
Psalm 136: 1
📖Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
Hebrews 12:28
📖And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:15-18
I share these verses because first we express thanks and gratitude for the things that we are grateful for but then we shift focus on who provided those things for us to be thankful for and giving praise & acknowledgement that our gratefulness improves our mood and mental health and that our good father knew these things when he requested us to always express gratitude 🙏🏼🤍
I hope yall have a beautiful and blessed day
