There was an encouraging and challenging message we received this past Sunday!

Jesus doesn't simply call us to believe in Him—He calls us to abide in Him.

Pastor White reminded us that the evidence of a fruitful life isn't found in church attendance alone, emotional worship, or religious activity. It is found in a life that consistently obeys Christ and reflects His love.

This week we learned three important truths about abiding in Jesus' love:

• Abiding is Conditional – Jesus said, "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love." Obedience is the evidence of genuine love.

• Abiding is Confrontational – Following Jesus requires us to confront ourselves before we confront anyone else. We must surrender our own desires and choose God's way.

• Abiding is Compensational – God rewards obedience with something the world cannot give—His joy. Not temporary happiness, but lasting joy that remains regardless of circumstances.

This week, ask yourself:
• Am I abiding or merely attending church?
• Is my life producing spiritual fruit?
• What area of my life needs greater obedience?

Read John 15:8-11 each day this week and ask God to help you remain in His love.
Remember...
Fruit doesn't happen overnight. It grows as we stay connected to the Vine.
