Sharing your faith cross-culturally is an essential skill, especially in a city as diverse as Houston! Here's how one church is taking steps to equip their people on mission.

Sugar Creek Baptist Church has been hosting "worldview tours" to empower members to understand and have productive gospel conversations across cultures.

So far, they have explored and discussed Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism with the hopes of engaging the nations in Houston and across the world.

Thanks to Brent Cleveland for the photos and ideas!

With the official legal questions still unanswered, we hope the biblical principle of wisdom will help you through this election season.

No matter where things land with the Johnson Amendment, making too much of politics is likely to backfire for your church. Instead, focus on the main things and lead your church to live out the gospel this election season and beyond.

For more on what churches can and can't say during election season, listen to the latest episode of Under the Steeple:

🫥 According to the Johnson Amendment, nonprofits (churches) with too much politics can lose their 501c3 status (not to mention their reputation in the community).

In this podcast, Matthew and Marie talk about the nuances of what church leaders should and should not say and where.

They consider not only recent shifts in the law but also what wisdom would say for pastors wanting to navigate election season with their focus on the gospel.

🔥 Trying to be everyone's hero leads to burnout. So what are church leaders to do?

📑 Systems and policies might be just the thing you need to help delegate, set boundaries, and keep the most important things central in ministry.

That's why we started the Under the Steeple podcast. It's a biweekly deep dive into the operational issues that can come up in church life.

Matthew Dillingham, Marie Burrus, and guests simplify the things about running a church you didn't learn in seminary. Check it out:
