God has called His people to be difference makers by responding to the mission of reaching the communities around them. The first work of Jesus was to touch the community, heal broken lives, restore hope, and reveal the love of God. That is what it means to make a difference. The church is not called to remain inside the walls, but to go outside and become the hands and feet of Christ in a hurting world.
