Morning Inspiration Memory 2020 by Pastor James C. Lewis

The songwriter says it best, “I won’t complain.” Faith is solidified in the moments of crisis, over the moments of triumph. It is when things are going rough that our faith is tested and our prayer life is strengthened. There are many examples of this in the bible, from Joseph to Job to Jesus.

When faced with adversity, it is an opportunity to go deeper into the Word of God, remember the great things God has done for you and the promises God has made for your future. Though the present moment may seem dark and unsettling, take a breath, pray and release all your stresses to God for God cares for you. Struggle doesn’t last always. Have faith and believe that better is on the way. Soon enough, you will reap great rewards for your faithfulness to God, even when it was most difficult.
