Advent Houston is a "coming" of a group of Christians to the Texas Medical Center, to Rice University, and to the surrounding neighborhoods to embrace, embody, and extend the grace of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.

Scenes from May 3rd, 2026 - We particularized! Thank you to EVERYONE who has been a part of this journey, from the first conversations about planting a church, to once a month gatherings, to our launch a few years ago, and now as we officially become our own particular church within the PCA. God is so good and we have been so blessed by how He has worked and loved us in this community. Thank you also to everyone who came to our service and our picnic party afterwards that day! Our particularization service, where we officially transition from being a church plant to our own “particular” church, is THIS SUNDAY!!! What an exciting thing happening in the life of our church, and we want to CELEBRATE!!! Whether you have been a part of Advent from the very beginning, or have never been but want to celebrate with us, you are invited!!! We want to fellowship joyfully in what God is doing.
