Happy Father's Day from the Church of Resurrection, a Healing Ministry!

Good morning, and a blessed Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads joining us today at the Church of Resurrection! This is a special day when we honor not just fathers but all men who have been father figures—mentors, uncles, brothers, and friends. You may receive heartfelt cards, gifts, or calls today; may each gesture remind you of the significant role you play in our lives. 🙏❤️👨‍👧‍👦

As we celebrate, let us reflect on the divine example of fatherhood given to us in Scripture. In the story of the Prodigal Son, we see a father who exhibits patience, forgiveness, and unconditional love (Luke 15:11-32). His arms open wide to receive his son back home is a powerful image of how fathers can mirror God’s love in their interactions with their children.

Let’s take a moment to consider the selflessness and enduring love that defines true fatherhood. As we honor our earthly fathers, let us also give thanks to our Heavenly Father, who provides us with the perfect example of love and leadership.

Today, we pray for all the fathers and father figures in our congregation:

Strength and Wisdom: May God empower you with the strength and wisdom needed to lead and nurture your families. 🙏

🌺 Tomorrow, we honor the incredible women who shape our lives with their love and strength. As we celebrate, let us also uplift our mothers in prayer, seeking God's blessing and guidance for them. Join us in these prayer points:

Divine Strength and Wisdom: Lord, empower every mother with supernatural strength and wisdom to nurture and guide her family in Your love.

Happy New Year, Beloved Congregation!

As we step into the grace-filled year of 2024, let us embrace it with hearts full of hope and hands lifted high in praise. This new year unfolds like a blank canvas, ready to be painted with the vibrant colors of God's love and blessings.

We stand at the threshold of another year, a divine opportunity to deepen our faith and walk closer with our Lord Jesus Christ. May this year be one of spiritual growth, where we seek God's wisdom more earnestly, love others more deeply, and serve with greater passion.

Remember, our God is a God of new beginnings. He specializes in turning our trials into triumphs, and our tests into testimonies. As we journey through 2024, let's hold onto His promises, knowing that He is with us, guiding our steps and lighting our path.
