Help us stuff backpacks!

The Stake has again partnered with Cy-Fair Helping Hands on a service project to gather back-to-school supplies for 60 middle school and 60 high school backpacks.

Each ward has chosen to participate. Please reach out to your ward if you have any questions. We have two weeks to go in collecting supplies. Thank you for your support and generosity.

One time I lost my sister at a waterpark. My mother told me to watch over her while she went to buy some food. I lost her in an instant. You might be thinking that I would have been going crazy. But I wasn’t, because the Lord comforted me by telling me she was safe and was being protected by the Holy Ghost. I finally found her and even though she was in tears I had remained calm knowing that the Lord was watching over her.

Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and President Jean B. Bingham and Sister Sharon Eubank of the Relief Society General Presidency will host a Face to Face event for single adults ages 31 and older on June 13, 2021.

Anyone wishing to donate any of the following items for the Warm Centers for the homeless may drop them off between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm TODAY* at Cy-Fair Helping Hands, 7520 Cherry Park Drive, Suite B. Houston 77095:

New cold weather sleeping bags
Hand warmers
Bananas
Oranges/cuties
Snack pack pudding
Snack fruit packs
Snack size chips
Boxed drinks
Candy- soft, individually wrapped
Cases of water

* Please email [email protected] if you would be able to deliver tomorrow to either the Foundry Jones Rd. or Copperfield Church on Hgwy 6N on Sunday afternoon (approx. 2 pm).

Donations for emergency shelter may be made via FB site. Donations will also be accepted at CFHH this morning.
