Today's message hit home in such a powerful way. 🙏🏽
One of our youth members from was called up as an example to help illustrate what it looks like to carry weight, burden, and responsibility in life, and the exchange truly brought the theme to life.

The reminder was clear💭
There is a difference between carrying your assignment and carrying your anxiety. God never intended for us to keep holding what was too heavy for us to bear alone.

We're so grateful for the word and powerful message brought by our special guest speaker Apostle Calvin Miller Chosen To Be Transparent. Grateful for the example, and proud of our young man for standing in the moment with faith and courage.

These are not just leaders. These are people who chose obedience over comfort, consistency over recognition, and purpose over position. Every single one of them is still on the journey, still growing, still becoming who God called them to be. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10, NIV) We are better because they kept going. Today, we celebrated one of our own. 🙌🏾 She has served faithfully, loved quietly, and trusted God completely, and today her dedication was honored as she was elevated to the role of Deaconess. We are so grateful for her heart and her "yes" to God. Proverbs 31:29 says, "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Congratulations, Deaconess Brandi Anderson! 👏🏽💜

Some things you have to experience with God for yourself.

At our women’s prayer brunch, "She Won The Battle Through Prayer", this reminder hit home: faith can be encouraged by others, but your walk with Jesus has to become personal.

Prayer, salvation, spiritual growth, and a real relationship with God are not just Sunday words. They’re part of how women of faith keep standing, keep growing, and keep finding strength through every season.

We’re thankful for moments like this that reflect the heart of GFODT: prayer, healing, restoration and real life transformation through Christ.
