Last night, we had an impactful Young Adult Call where our teaching and discussion centered on Emotional Intelligence (EI).

We explored two of the five key components of EI: self-awareness and self-regulation. In a world where so many things and people can influence our emotions, developing self-awareness is essential. Emotional growth begins with self and is sustained by self.

We discussed the importance of setting healthy boundaries, recognizing our behaviors, and learning how to manage our emotions rather than allowing them to manage us. We also introduced practical pause techniques to help us respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively.

My prayer is that every young adult will not only remember what was shared but will also put these principles into practice in their daily lives. Growth happens when knowledge is applied.

18–24 years of age to recalibrate, realign, and refocus the minds and hearts of our next generation.

✨ Being a young adult is not easy with so many distractions in the world. Many tend to lose momentum and, as a result, need moments to recalibrate. So, let’s do the work.
