How often do we ask God to change our situation while avoiding what He’s trying to change in us?

Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that God’s Word isn’t just something we read. It’s alive. It’s active. It reaches places no one else can reach and reveals what we’ve tried to hide, ignore, or bury.

Before God changes your circumstances, He often transforms your heart.

Before He opens new doors, He prepares the person walking through them.

Today, invite God’s Word to do its work in you.

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything right…

Working harder.
Praying harder.
Trying harder.

Yet nothing seems to change?

One of the most powerful truths from Hunger Night was this:

Not every problem can be solved with more effort.

Sometimes we’re fighting symptoms while ignoring the source.

The reality is that not everything affecting your life can be seen with your natural eyes. Stress, confusion, lack of peace, constant frustration, and cycles that seem impossible to break often point to something deeper.

And here’s what challenged us the most:

The highest level of spirituality isn’t power.

It’s peace.

Not peace because everything is perfect.
Not peace because there are no storms.

Peace because God is present in the middle of the storm.

As you swipe through this carousel, ask yourself:

What if the battle I’ve been fighting isn’t where I’ve been fighting it?

What’s one area of your life where you’ve been working harder instead of seeking God deeper?

Be careful how you pray… because vague prayers can produce vague results!

He asked for a Hummer for his birthday and ended up getting a toy Hummer instead 😆

The lesson? Specific prayers matter.

Sometimes we say we want “more” but never define what “more” looks like.
More peace? More money? More discipline? More opportunities? More healing?

Clarity matters. Specificity matters.

Don’t be afraid to ask God boldly and specifically for what you’re believing for.

The shaking doesn’t mean God left you.
The turbulence doesn’t mean you’re off course.

Sometimes the pressure, the stretching, and the uncertainty are signs that you’re moving into something greater.

Planes only experience turbulence when they’re going somewhere.

So if this season has felt uncomfortable, challenging, or heavy… don’t quit now. God is still guiding your journey.

“Turbulence is a sign of momentum that you’re going somewhere.”

Waiting seasons can be hard. Especially when you’re praying, trusting God, and wondering when things are finally going to change.
