As we honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. this MLK Day, we are reminded that the journey towards equality and justice is ongoing. Despite the setbacks and attempts to take us backwards, we must hold steadfast to the vision that Dr. King imparted to us. His words resonate profoundly today:

"Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

In these times of uncertainty, let us draw strength from his message. We are called to be courageous, to rise above division, and to advocate for a future where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
