Yesterday, while on a walk, my husband and I kept seeing broken glass everywhere, sidewalks, streets, 2 different subdivisions…
Thinking about this, felt like Holy Spirit was breathing on it - and this is my takeaway:
When we feel broken, our hearts are shattered (like that glass was) some people may notice— most don’t.
BUT HE DOES. He began to remind me of His Word and what He has to say about the brokenhearted…
Psalm 34:18 EXB The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those whose spirits have been crushed.
Psalm 147:3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
HIS WORD TELLS US CONCERNING THE BROKENHEARTED
-HIS NEARNESS COMMUNICATES HIS INVOLVEMENT AND READINESS TO SHOW COMFORT AND SUPPORT TO THE BROKENHEARTED
-HE’S COMPASSIONATE AND RESTORES THE BROKENHEARTED, ATTENTIVE TO THE HEALING PROCESS, AKIN TO A PHYSICIAN TENDING PHYSICAL INJURIES
-JESUS IS ANOINTED WITH MISSION) AND AUTHORITY TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED; HE’S ON A MISSION: TO HEAL YOUR BROKEN HEART.
Concerning BROKEN -
Gideon’s broken pottery became weapons against the enemy
And the ship that was broken to pieces in the storm, when Paul was on his way to Rome, actually became life preservers to get the men on the boat, along with Paul, to shore safely.
Only our good, good Father can take the broken and save others with it!!
HE SEES YOUR BROKEN HEART, IS NEAR, AND IS ON A MISSION TO HEAL-- SO MANY MAY BE DELIVERED & RESCUED!!
