Even when we can’t see it, He’s working. Even when we can’t feel it, He’s moving.

He is still a Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, and Light in the Darkness. That is who He is!

One campus. So many words.

We asked a few people to describe Downtown in ONE word, and here’s what they said! 👀

15 years of God’s faithfulness, and we’re still ALL smiles! 🧡🥹

From familiar faces to new friends, Sunday was filled with joy, laughter, and so many reasons to celebrate. We’re grateful for every person who has been part of the story and excited for all that God has ahead for Houston’s First Downtown!

Here’s to 15 years of memories and GREATER THINGS to come!

10/18/2026

What started years ago has become a story of lives changed, faith strengthened, and a community growing together. Every season, every service, every prayer, and every person has been part of what makes Houston’s First Downtown so special.

As we look back with gratitude, we look forward with expectation, because we believe God still has GREATER THINGS ahead!

Downtown, this is our story, and we’re just getting started.

A heart of gratitude changes everything.

In every season, God is worthy of our praise. May we never lose our wonder at all He has done!

👀 Seeing Differently.

Numbers 13 reminds us that what we see doesn’t change what God has spoken. Regardless of the circumstances, the obstacles, or how impossible it may look, if God has promised it, we can trust Him to bring it to pass.

Don’t let what’s in front of you make you forget who’s with you!

Sunday at Downtown, we welcomed Pastor Malcolm Marshall from our Sienna Campus as he reminded us that God can use seasons of discomfort to deepen our trust in Him. Sometimes, the invitation isn’t to demand an explanation, but to grow in faith and trust what God has said.

Courage isn’t the absence of intimidating circumstances. It’s choosing to face them while trusting God.
