You don’t have to figure out your faith journey on your own.

Sometimes the hardest part of growing closer to Jesus is simply knowing where to begin. Pathways to Discipleship is a simple, welcoming way to take that next step with others from our parish family. Through short videos, honest conversation, and practical habits inspired by the way Jesus lived, you’ll discover how to pray more deeply, reflect on Scripture, and live your faith in everyday life.

Whether you’re just getting started or ready to go deeper, there’s a place for you here, and we’d love for you to join us.

Our next session starts Monday, April 20.

Happy Easter! Rejoice! Today we gather in joy to celebrate the holiest and most wonderful of days: Easter Sunday. Jesus, who sacrificed his life on behalf of us all, has been raised from the dead. Alleluia! This is the day that gives meaning to Jesus’ suffering and death, and in turn to our own. Suffering and death are not the end. Jesus has led the way to his Father for all eternity. How appropriate that we gather today for the Eucharist. In the Eucharist, we give thanks to the Lord for the ultimate sacrifice he made for our sins. In the Eucharist, we receive his Body and Blood, more closely uniting us with him, now and eternally. Let us celebrate the Eucharist on this blessed day as we are reborn in the Lord. -for a digital worship aid follow: pophouston.cc/worshipaid , , ,

Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Today reminds us that no darkness gets the final word. Jesus is alive, and because He lives, there is joy, mercy, and new life for each of us!

Thank you for spending this Easter with us. Whether you come every Sunday or you were here for the first time in a while, we are so grateful you were part of this beautiful day with our parish family.

We are praying that the joy and peace of Easter stays with you all season long and fills your home with hope. Alleluia!

Yesterday, we came forward one by one to venerate the Cross, the wood on which hung the salvation of the world.

In silence, with tears, with gratitude, we kissed the place where Love gave everything.

“Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us.”

Today, Holy Saturday, the Church grows quiet.

There is a great silence over the earth because the King sleeps.

And yet even now, Christ is not absent.
He is descending into the darkness.
He is seeking Adam like the lost sheep.
He is reaching into every tomb, every fear, every wound, every place that still feels buried, and He speaks:

Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.

As we wait at the tomb today, we do not wait without hope.
The Cross we venerated yesterday is already becoming the doorway to life.

Come back tonight for the Easter Vigil (8:30pm in the Church) as we keep watch for the moment darkness breaks and the Light of Christ enters the world.
