Crux Journey Church We give it all to God, Living to honor God in all we do.

We are focused on a relationship not religion, working on our own walk while seeking and helping others to recieve the love of Jesus Christ so that we may grow together thru the word.

Last week, our men stepped away from the noise and made room for God. 🙏🔥

Our Men’s Retreat was more than a weekend away—it was a time of brotherhood, prayer, worship, reflection, and real encounters with God.

Walls came down. Hearts were opened. Brothers stood beside brothers. And God moved in ways that words simply can’t capture.

We’re thankful for every man who showed up willing to be challenged, strengthened, and transformed. What happened at retreat doesn’t stay at retreat—we pray it follows them into their homes, marriages, families, workplaces, and everyday walk with Christ.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

Real people. Real God. Real transformation. ❤️‍🔥

Jesus never hid the cost of following Him. He told us plainly that the way is narrow and that not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 7:13–14, 21)

Pastor Mario’s message is a sobering reminder: don’t let familiarity with Christianity give you false assurance in Christ.

Examine your heart. Test what you believe against Scripture—not your feelings, traditions, good works, church attendance, or your own understanding.

But self-examination is not a call to obsess over whether you’ve been good enough. None of us are good enough. That’s why we need the Gospel.

Our confidence is not, “Look how well I’ve performed for Jesus.”

Our confidence is, “Look what Jesus has done for sinners.”

Christ lived the righteous life we could not live, died for our sins, and rose again. Salvation is by grace through faith in Him—not something we achieve through religious performance.

So examine yourself—but then look to Christ. Repent and believe the Gospel. Don’t build your eternity on a version of Jesus shaped by your own understanding. Build it on the Jesus revealed in Scripture.

Eternity matters too much to settle for “Lord, Lord” without truly knowing the Lord. ✝️

😂 We may be growing physically… but are we growing spiritually?

Pastor Arnulfo reminded us that our prayer shouldn’t simply be for God to change our circumstances, but for Him to grow us in Christ to deepen our faith, mature us in His Word, and make us more like Jesus.

Physical growth happens with time. Spiritual growth comes as we abide in Christ, submit to His Word, and depend on the Holy Spirit.

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18

Lord, don’t let us stay spiritually immature. Give us a hunger for Your Word, a deeper love for Christ, and lives that bear fruit for Your glory. 🙏🏽

We’ve heard it before: united we stand, divided we fall. Yet division is still a trap we so easily fall into—even within the Body of Christ.

But the Gospel reminds us what truly unites us. It isn’t that we agree on everything, come from the same background, or worship exactly the same way. We are one because of Jesus Christ.

At the cross, Christ reconciled sinners to God and made us one in Him. So we don’t have to feed division, competition, pride, or offense. We can forgive because we’ve been forgiven. We can pursue peace because Christ has made peace for us.

Jesus didn’t die to build our individual kingdoms. He died to redeem a people for Himself.

“One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all.” — Ephesians 4:5–6

May the Gospel be bigger than the things trying to divide us. One Body. One Savior. One Gospel. All for His glory. ✝️

Sometimes we want God’s hand,His provision, His blessing, His answer, His breakthrough, more than we want God Himself.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God knows the plans He has for His people, but our hope isn’t ultimately found in getting the life we planned. Our hope is found in the Lord.

And the Gospel gives us something far greater than earthly blessings: through Jesus Christ, sinners are forgiven, reconciled to God, and brought near to Him.

Don’t seek Jesus only for what He can give you. Seek Him because He is the treasure.

The greatest gift of the Gospel isn’t that Jesus gives us a better life—it’s that Jesus gives us Himself. ✝️

Seek His face, not just His hand.

What if the vision God has given us isn’t something we fully see in our lifetime—but something the generations behind us will walk in?

We keep preparing. We keep planting. We keep preaching the Gospel. We keep pointing people to Jesus.

The unity of the Body of Christ isn’t built around personalities, platforms, denominations, or our own agendas. Our unity is found in Christ. One Lord. One faith. One Gospel. One Body.

Maybe we won’t see every seed become a harvest—but faithfulness is never wasted.

We prepare today because there are generations coming behind us who need to know the truth: Jesus Christ saves sinners, reconciles us to God, and makes us one in Him.

“Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” — Ephesians 4:3 NLT

Keep building. Keep planting. Keep preparing. Not for our name, but for His. ✝️

Some hearts have grown hard. Some have been wounded, disappointed, distracted, or resistant to the truth of God. But no heart is beyond the reach of His grace. ❤️

Pastor Mario is praying for those who need their hearts softened and made tender toward the Lord—ready to hear His Word, receive the Gospel, repent, and believe.

If that’s you, or if someone immediately came to mind as you heard this message, join us in prayer.

Lord, soften hardened hearts. Open eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to receive the truth of Jesus Christ. Draw the lost to Yourself and remind us that salvation belongs to You.

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you…” — Ezekiel 36:26

We can share the Gospel. We can pray. We can love people faithfully. But only God can change a heart. ✝️ biblestudy

There’s a lot of talk about demons.
A lot of talk about spiritual warfare.
And sometimes, a lot of talk about us—our authority, our strength, what we can do.

But where is the Gospel?

The truth is not that we are powerful enough to hold onto God. The truth is that Christ has already won, and nothing can separate His people from His love.

Not trouble.
Not persecution.
Not angels.
Not demons.
Not anything in all creation.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:38–39

Our confidence isn’t in how loudly we rebuke darkness. Our confidence is in Jesus Christ—crucified, risen, reigning, and faithful to save.

Less obsession with darkness.
Less focus on ourselves.
More Gospel. More Jesus. More truth. ✝️

Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Nothing.

The burden of saving people was never placed on us. That belongs to Jesus.

Our responsibility is to faithfully tell people the Good News—to point them to Christ, proclaim what He has done, and trust God with the results.

We cannot change a heart.
We cannot make someone believe.
We cannot save a soul.

But we can be faithful witnesses.

That takes the pressure off of us without taking away the responsibility. We share the Gospel because Christ has commanded us to—and because the Gospel really is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.

So tell them about Jesus. Tell them about the cross. Tell them that He died for sinners and rose again. Tell them that forgiveness and eternal life are found in Him.

We proclaim. God saves.

📖 “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes.” — Romans 1:16 NLT
