What does it mean to be a good friend?

We have a great example by looking at the kind of friend Jesus was and is. The Bible talks about what it means to be a good friend and what kind of people you should surround yourself with.

Friends should build and lift you up.

Friends pray for and with you.

Friends love.

Jesus wants us to be and have good friends. Think about the people who are in your life.

Are they good friends? Do they support you and help you get closer to our greatest friend, Jesus? What about you? Are you being this for your friends?

Some scriptures for guidance- Romans 12:10, 1 Corinthians 15:33, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Colossians 3:12-13

We can find rest in Jesus

He tells us in Matthew 11:28 that his yoke is easy and burden is light.

Whatever is weighing you down today hand it over to Jesus, you don’t have to carry it alone anymore! It’s time for you to take rest and trust that he will carry you through.
