Father’s Day is always a fun time to celebrate our Dad’s and Grandpa’s. One thing all fathers, and all of us, want to leave behind is a lasting legacy. Our Scripture passages this week will show us principles we can all follow so we can be a blessing to others, even long after we leave this Earth.

Our women’s ministry team hosted a fun event at Pottery Hollow Ellisville today including snack, painting pottery and devotional. What a wonderful time of fun and fellowship we had together ❤️ We missed the ladies who were not able to join!

Waiting on God (Part 6 of 7)
Habakkuk 1-3
Waiting While Questioning God

Have you ever asked God “Why?” or even “When?” If so, you are in great company. This week we will be studying a prophet Habakkuk who did not understand why God was letting evil people prosper. Our Scripture passage will show a conversation between Habakkuk and God. We will see how God answers our questions, and we will also see how we should respond to the Lord.

Several of us spent our quarterly mission morning with the Mylife Medical & Resource center in High Ridge. We were able to help them switch out their winter clothes for summer clothes to help out local families. What a fun and productive morning we had together!

Waiting on God (Part 2 of 6)

Job 1:20-22, 19:25-27, 38:1-4, 42:1-6
Waiting on God’s Answers

There is much that happens in our lives and in the world that just doesn’t make sense to us. If you have ever asked God “Why?”, you are in great company. This week we will be studying Job. Even though he suffered incredible losses, he never lost his faith in God. Job’s life teaches us several principles we are to remember when we are waiting on God’s answers.

Easter is the most important holiday we celebrate, because if there was no empty tomb, we would have no hope. Jesus completely defeated the power of sin and death by rising from the dead. Because of that, no matter how hard life gets, we always have hope and purpose.

Waiting on God’s Timing

We are starting a new sermon series called Waiting on God. It is inevitable that we will go through seasons of life where we are waiting on God’s timing. Often times we feel like God is moving too slow, and then we are tempted to take matters into our own hands. When we do that, we always make matters worse. This week we will be learning from Noah principles we are to remember when we are waiting on God’s timing.

A few photos from our Easter Egg Trunk Hop today! We moved it mostly inside given it was cool and rainy. What a fun and blessed time we had celebrating with our church family and local community 🐣✝️ We had a wonderful turnout, though I didn’t take a lot of photos of families once they arrived.
