(Genesis 1:14-18). Worry or unbelif, will shorten our time and relationship with God, faith in God add life.The Struggle of Waiting on God. Have you ever prayed for something, only to feel like God was silent? Maybe you’ve been waiting for a breakthrough—a new job, a spouse, healing, or clarity in a difficult situation—but it seems like nothing is happening. In moments like these, it's easy to wonder, Is God listening? Why isn’t He moving faster?Waiting is one of the hardest things we do as believers. Our culture is wired for instant gratification—fast food, instant messaging, and same-day delivery. When we don’t get what we want quickly, we feel frustrated and discouraged. But here’s the truth: God’s timing is not our timing, because we don't have Patience to wait on God's timing and His plans are always better than ours."Our time is God time" reflects a spiritual belief that all moments, plans, and events fall under divine sovereignty, meaning God's perfect, eternal timing supersedes our limited human schedules, encouraging trust, patience, and faith that His ultimate purpose unfolds beautifully, even when we feel delayed. This idea emphasizes surrendering control, trusting that God orchestrates events for greater good, drawing from scriptures like Psalm 31:15 ("My times are in Your hand") and Ecclesiastes 3:11 ("He has made everything beautiful in its time") God's timing is permanent, perfect; He's never late or early, just right for His ultimate plan, as seen in Isaiah 60:22. Our perception of time is limited; what feels like a delay to us is part of God's unfolding, purposeful process.Growth & Glory: Waiting on God's timing builds faith and ensures God gets the glory, (Isaiah 55:8&9) 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.He operates with an eternal view, making sense of moments we don't. Psalm 31:15 "My times are in your hands". Ecclesiastes 3:11: "He has made everything beautiful in its time". 2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” Begin tp practical by trusting in God, and have patience and surrender to God's will and let God take control and trust that God is working, even when answers are slow or when you can't see. Continue praying, believing, and walking in faith during seasons of waiting, understanding it as divine preparation. Use delays as opportunities to grow stronger in faith and character, letting God shape you.
