“The graces of My mercy are drawn by means of one vessel only, and that is — trust. The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive.”

These were the words of Jesus to St. Faustina, recorded in her journal around the year 1938. St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who had written only a few decades earlier, also wrote about the power of trust in Jesus. It is clear that Jesus wants us to know about trust!

On this Divine Mercy Sunday, may you be filled with the grace to trust—trust that you are never too far gone, that God is closer than you think, and that no sin is ever too big for God’s mercy.
