It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Brother Knight David Wells on May 9. 2026. As a 3rd Degree Knight David was an integral part of the Paul A. McGillicuddy Council 1873, who will be deeply missed. On behalf of our council please pray for Brother David and his family. A copy of his obituary is attached. He was beloved by his family along with being an accomplished musician, chef and local business owner.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, May 16 at St Mary’s of the Visitation, 112 Military St., Houlton Maine 04730. A potluck reception is scheduled following the Mass at 12:30 in St Anthony’s Hall located in the basement of the church. Everyone is welcome.

A memorial Mass is also scheduled on June 4 at the 6:00 pm Mass, by the K of C on behalf of David and his family.
