⭐️⭐️ FAMILY BIBLE STUDY ⭐️⭐️

We are kicking off our Bible Study, located right at our home, on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026!

This is a 10 Week Bible Study where you can ask the questions in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and find answers to what the Bible teaches.

It will run from September 8th to November 10th, 6:30 PM each Tuesday!

This 10 Week Bible Study is a flyover from Genesis to Revelation, giving you a strong framework to understand the complete message of the Bible.

We would like to welcome you to our home!

Here’s roughly what the meetings look like:

6:30 PM - 6:55 PM
Pot Luck Food and Drinks, time of fellowship

6:55 PM - 7:45
Bible Lesson, Q&A, Discussion

7:45 PM - 8:00 PM
Prayer

We will be looking at things like over the 10 weeks.

What is the overall message of the Bible?
What does following God look like?
What does Salvation mean?
What is Heaven like?
Who should be baptized and when?
What is the work of the Holy Spirit?
Is Jesus returning?

WE WELCOME ALL, AND HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE 🙌🏻

I’ve been married 22 years. I’ve raised up two adult sons and still have younger ones at home. I’m a Grandfather. I’ve travelled all over and seen a lot of this world. I’ve done a lot of things.

I’ve had great victories and I’ve suffered defeats. Sometimes I’ve had everything right and other times I’ve made mistakes.

I’ve watched the lives of men who followed God and the lives of men who rejected Him.

I say all that to make this point;

When it comes down to it, at the end of the day, after all I’ve done and all I’ve seen, God’s ways are the best ways.

It doesn’t mean we won’t have struggles or that we won’t face challenges. Good times and bad times both come and go to all of us.

But at the end of the day, the best kind of life you can live is living a simple life God’s way.

I’ve never looked back and regretted times I did things God’s way.

But I have looked back and wished I could have a second chance on the times I didn’t.

Psalm 103:17
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

Today we were so happy to be welcomed at Weston Community Church.

This historic church building was moved from Canada into the Maine by being dragged over the frozen Brackett Lake in the year 1850.

We had a good time meeting the congregation and playing a special song.

Weston, Maine only has a population of 245.

This is a “Summer Church.” Maine may be unique in the number of “Summer” Churches that are still in existence in these sparsely populated, fairly remote areas.

A Summer Church is just what it sounds like - it meets only in summer months, and closes for the winter.

The facility is beautiful as you can see in the photos. There were approximately 30 in attendance today.

The church has no bathroom facilities, but that doesn’t stop faithful people from attending.

The church building sets high on a hill with a beautiful lawn marked by green grass with ledge stone poking through here and there. It faces the lake looking straight into neighboring Canada.

These are the churches that built America.

I believe it America experiences another Great Awakening, it will birth from churches like these.

In Judges 6:36-40, we find Gideon placing a fleece before God to be sure of God’s will and plan.

Some people are against placing a “fleece” before God. Others think it’s appropriate during certain circumstances.

Regardless of our opinion on the use of a “fleece,” the important thing that we can all agree on is that once we hear from God, we need to accept what the answer is and act accordingly.

Gideon placed his literal fleece out twice, and when God had spoken, he accepted and acted.

We may not always get the answer we want, but we are told to always trust what God has answered.

Start your day with the Word of the Lord.

It will set your course, keep you grounded and change your outlook.

Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 NKJV
I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

Due to the extreme heat, we won’t be setting up a full tent tomorrow night at Midnight Madness in Houlton. We are setting up a smaller canopy instead. Hope to see you there!
