Community Water Issues in Houck
The Houck community is currently facing several challenges related to public water access and usage, particularly concerning the shared drinking water site that the Baha’is steward. Local community members have expressed concerns about water-hauling etiquette and the appropriate amounts of this valuable resource. Key issues include long-distance users being unaware of the decades of locally observed limits (110 gallons daily), livestock consumption of potable water, slow water flow at the pump, and leaking pump. There's also a need for clearer communication and consistent encouragement of suggestion use to ensure equitable access and preserve the water source for all and future generations.

The regional Four Corners Training Institute programmatic teams held its Ruhi Book 5 and Book 7 Seminar at NABI in July. These friends are tutors and animators serving youth and families from across Arizona. During this same time there were two additional Regional Seminars taking place: Denver and Tempe. I look forward to collaborating and hosting a similar gathering for tutors and animators in our local area, TBA.
