It's that time of year again when loved ones pay tribute to their friends and family resting at Riverside Cemetery. Every Memorial Day, we enjoy seeing the beautiful bouquets and lovingly placed tokens that highlight their love and respect.

The cemetery staff would like to let you know that while we encourage your expressions of love, they often times interfere with mowing and w**d eating operations if they are not placed in vases away from the grass surrounding the monument. We will be removing flower arrangements or debris that impedes mowing operations on June 8th 2023. Please pick up any flower arrangements you would like to keep before that day. Thank you!

There will be a flag ceremony at the Riverside Cemetery on Monday morning at 10am. Coffee and donuts will be served at the museum following the ceremony

Good morning! I wanted to let you all know that we will be removing flowers on Tuesday, June 8th (one week from today) in order to resume mowing and watering operations. Please remove anything you want to keep before that date. There is so much love at the Hotchkiss Cemetery and it looks so beautiful!

Many thanks to our Hotchkiss community, Hotchkiss Marshal’s Office, North Fork EMS, Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies, Taylor Funeral Service and 5280 Fire for today’s graveside service for our brother John Sell. Thanks for all of the kindness we’ve received. It was a honor to bring John to his resting place. Don’t Rest In Peace, John, Soar in Freedom!
