🎳❤️ Tonight was all about CONNECTION.

Lots of laughter.
Lots of bowling.
Lots of memories made.

Our mission as a church is to be:
✨ “A community of faith, connecting people to God, to each other, and to the world.” ✨

Tonight our youth connected with each other through friendship, fun, encouragement, pizza, arcade games, and just spending time together. These moments matter. ❤️

And honestly… one of the cutest parts of the night was our assistant’s little one-year-old joining all the fun 🥹 The youth girls loved taking turns holding her and helping her play arcade games. It was the sweetest reminder that church really is family.

We love watching students build friendships and find community where they can truly belong. ❤️

💵 Bring $20 to help cover bowling + food.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay 💙

Next Wednesday our youth group will have a special night focused on mental health and supporting one another. Guest speaker Tram Nobles will share about recognizing when someone might be struggling and how we can care for ourselves and our friends.

This video captures the Lakeside Rams junior high girls’ basketball team doing what they love—showing up, shooting hoops, working together, and finding joy on the court.

It’s a gift to watch our youth girls be part of a team where they’re growing in confidence, learning teamwork, and having fun doing something they love. These are the kinds of moments that shape who they’re becoming—on and off the court. 💛

So grateful for sports, coaches, teammates, and spaces that help our kids thrive.

Wednesday nights = the BEST nights 🙌

Last night our youth gathered from 6–7:30pm for dinner, worship, games, and time in God’s Word together. There is just something powerful about students laughing, talking, and growing in faith side-by-side.

In our Bible in a Year study, we were in the story of Jacob. Students learned that even when people make messy choices, God still keeps His promises. Jacob didn’t always get it right — he struggled, he ran, he wrestled — but God never stopped working in his life. We talked about how God is shaping us too, even in the hard seasons, and how our identity comes from who God says we are, not our past mistakes.

✨ Faith is growing
✨ Friendships are forming
✨ God is moving
