🚍✨ WAK (Wednesday After-School Kids) is Back! ✨🚍

We’re so excited to launch another year of WAK starting Wednesday, September 10! 🙌

✅ Who can join?
• 1st–5th graders – We pick up from Lakeside Primary, Lakeside Intermediate, and Lakeside Middle Schools and bring kids straight to church.
• Pre-K (age 4) & Kindergarteners – Parents can drop off in the Romper Room (CLC) beginning at 4:00 PM.

🎉 What’s included?
• Fun games, crafts, and science experiments
• Bible truths shared through stories and video shorts
• Light snack when kids arrive
• A safe, exciting place to grow in faith and friendships

🕠 Pickup for all students is 5:30 PM

💲 Cost: FREE and open to everyone!

🎉 MESSFEST VBS — Final Day Recap! 🎉

Today was our BEST day yet at MessFest VBS, and what an amazing way to end an unforgettable week!

We wrapped things up with the powerful story of Paul’s shipwreck—a reminder that even when life feels out of control, like a storm at sea, God gives us peace right in the middle of the mess. 🌊🕊️

Our Bible Point today was:
“Even when life is out of control… God gives us peace.” 💙

We brought the story to life in so many fun, creative ways:
⚓ We made stormy sea snacks with blue Jell-O, marshmallows, and pretzel stick “boats.”
🎨 We painted stormy seas and crafted foil boats that we floated in water—just like Paul’s!
💦 And the grand finale? WATER DAY! Over an hour of fun on a giant 20’ inflatable waterslide! So many kids said it was the best day ever!

Most importantly, we hope your kids walked away knowing that God is always with us—especially in life’s messiest moments—and that church is a place where they are loved and welcomed.

We’ve been so blessed by each and every child this week. Thank you for sharing them with us! We would LOVE to see your family again soon.
