Religion often feels like more work (more rules, more "do better"). Jesus is offering the exact opposite.

A Preaching Moment:

The Aroma Precedes the Presence!!!

You usually know cookies are in the house before you ever see them. The scent fills the entire house and changes the "atmosphere" of the home.

In some spiritual traditions, "glory" is described as an atmosphere or a "weight" (the Hebrew word Kavod literally means heaviness). It’s an influence that changes the environment before you even fully perceive the source.

If God's Glory is the aroma of the cookie, the Holy Spirit is the flavor hitting your tongue. You can't separate the "flavor" from the "cookie," but the flavor is the specific way you experience the cookie's excellence.

"O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good;
How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him."
Psalm 34:8 (AMP)

Alright, it has been a while since we have posted. I am happy to announce the details of our Wednesday night service and location this year. I pray that God blesses you with a good year. Although some struggles remain, we also know that God's love and power endure. God bless you!
