1st Sunday of 2025

From a pastor’s heart, I can’t express how important it is for you and your family to start 2025 by being in church this Sunday. The first weekend of the year sets the tone for everything that follows. This is your opportunity to prioritize what matters most—your walk with the Lord and the spiritual growth of your family.

Gods Word teaches us…
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Simply put, here are five reasons why it’s important to be in church this Sunday:

1. Putting Jesus first!
When you start the year worshiping the Lord, you’re acknowledging that He is the center of your life. It’s a declaration that His will and His presence will guide your steps in the year ahead.

2. Setting the Spiritual Tone for Your Year!
The choices you make at the beginning of the year often shape the habits you carry forward. Prioritizing church reminds your family—and yourself—that seeking God comes first.

3. Hearing a Fresh Word from God!
God has something specific for you this year. Being in church this Sunday allows you to start with clarity, encouragement, and direction from His Word. Don’t miss what He wants to speak into your life!

4. Connect with Your Church Family!
Church isn’t just a place; it’s a family. Being surrounded by believers who are pursuing God alongside you brings accountability, encouragement, and strength to face whatever 2025 holds.

5. Teach Your Family What Matters Most
Your children, spouse, and loved ones are watching how you prioritize your time. Choosing to be in church at the start of the year teaches them to value God above all else, building a legacy of faith in your home.

This Sunday isn’t just another service—it’s a chance to start 2025 strong, with your heart aligned to God’s will and your life anchored in His promises.

So, I encourage you—gather your family, make plans, and don’t let anything keep you from being in God’s house this weekend. Let’s walk into the new year together, united as a church, ready to seek Him, serve Him, and glorify Him in all we do.

I can’t wait to see you this Sunday at Mulberry Baptist Church Let’s begin this year in His presence!

This is one of the most important Elections that has ever been held, if you love America you need this evil out of office, am I saying Trump is a Christian no but I am saying he stands for the moral fiber of this country, and wants every family in it to succeed even the Democratic voters he wants your families to prosper as well. So vote Red until the evil is out!!! Communism is evil Socialism is evil, both separate to where there is no middle class it is the haves and have nots.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

As hard as it is for us to understand, whoever wins tomorrow it will be the hand of the Lord that allowed it, Repentance to get a clear a record with no intentions of changing is not Repentance at all but regret you where caught. Church if we want the Lord to bless our land again, then Gods people need to make a stand again.

God has a lifework for each of us. As the old chorus puts it.

There’s a work for Jesus ready at your hand,
Tis the task the Master, just for you has planned;
Haste to do His bidding, yield Him service true,
There’s a work for Jesus none but you can do.
