Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
In honor of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
As Catholics, we are invited to prepare spiritually for this historic moment through prayer, devotion, and renewal of faith. Parishioners are encouraged to participate in the Novena to the Sacred Heart from June 3–11 and to consecrate themselves and their families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Families are also encouraged to enthrone an image of the Sacred Heart in their homes as a public sign of welcoming Christ as King and center of family life.
In addition, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will travel along the East Coast with the Blessed Sacrament, culminating in Philadelphia from July 2–5, 2026, as Catholics across the nation gather in prayer, Eucharistic devotion, and witness to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ.
