But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth

Step into the powerful and sobering world of the Book of Judges in this introductory sermon, “Orientation to the Book of Judges.” In this message, we explore the tragic cycle of Israel’s rebellion, the failure of a generation that forgot God, and the incredible long-suffering grace of God that shines even in humanity’s darkest moments.
This sermon examines the major themes of Judges:
• “Everyone did what was right in their own eyes” (Judges 21:25)
• The collapse of a nation without God
• The failure to disciple the next generation
• Broken leadership and spiritual decline
• God’s faithfulness to send deliverers who ultimately point to Jesus Christ
Rather than presenting Judges as a collection of heroic Bible stories, this message reveals the deeper story of humanity’s sinfulness, God’s covenant faithfulness, and our desperate need for a true and perfect Savior.

What does it look like to trust God with the next generation? In this powerful message from 1 Samuel 1, we explore the faithful example of Hannah—a woman who cried out to God in her suffering, dedicated her son Samuel to the Lord, and trusted God’s plan for future generations.
In a time when Israel was spiritually drifting during the period of the Judges, God raised up Samuel through the prayers and faithfulness of Hannah. This sermon challenges parents, grandparents, church leaders, and young people alike to ask: Are we preparing the next generation to serve the Lord wholeheartedly?

What a powerful reminder from this past Sunday's message!

In 2 Corinthians 5:16-21, we're called to see people not from a worldly view, but through the lens of Christ's love. Because of Jesus, everything has changed-the old is gone, the new is here!

God has not only reconciled us to Himself through Christ, but He has also entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. That means we are His ambassadors-representing His grace, His mercy, and His invitation to be made new.

Think about that: wherever you go this week-your workplace, your home, your community-you carry the message of hope. You are sent to reflect Christ and to share the good news that reconciliation with God is possible through Him.

Let's live with purpose, speak with love, and walk as true ambassadors of Christ!

There is a kind of hope that doesn't ignore pain-but walks straight through it.

This past Sunday, we explored the Hope of Lament through Psalm 42-a powerful reminder that faith doesn't mean having it all together. The psalmist cries out honestly: "Why, my soul, are you downcast?" Yet in the very same breath, he declares, "Put your hope in God."

Lament is not weakness-it's worship. It's choosing to bring our deepest struggles to God instead of turning away from Him. It's trusting that even in the silence, He is still present, still faithful, still good.

If your heart feels heavy, you're not alone-and you're not without hope. Keep bringing your soul before the Lord. Hope is still alive.

What does it take to truly believe?

In this powerful Easter message from John 20, we step into the empty tomb, the confusion of the disciples, and the transforming moment when doubt gives way to faith. From Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Christ to Thomas’ honest questions, this chapter reminds us that the resurrection of Jesus is not just an event to remember—it’s an invitation to believe.
