It is with heavy heart and prayers for the family that I announce that:

Sandra Ann Riley Scott, 71, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2022.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the service to follow at 3:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd., Olive Branch, MS).

The interment will follow at New Bethlehem Cemetery (3850 Church Rd, Horn Lake, MS). Brother Larry Evans of The Outpouring Church will officiate.

Next time you barbecue, after the coals are nice and red-hot, take about six of them out and set them aside. Then set one aside by itself and watch what happens.

The “family” of six coals will stay hot awhile but not as long as the big gathering. And the poor coal that is “living on his own” – off at college or working – will cool very quickly apart from the other coals.

If you want to stay red hot in your walk with God stay connected to the big pile of coals. Keep your little family tied into the pit. As often as possible gather with the other coals where you can draw heat from them and help others by sharing your heat.

We should not stop gathering together with other believers. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.

This is the most scripturally sound thing I have read on FB in a LONG time! If after we confess Christ, we continue in our sin and never change into the new man (the evidence of salvation), are we really saved? According to 1John, we are children of satan if we continue in our sin.
