Bible Study tonight at Line Upon Line Church! 🌮📖

Come hungry… for tacos and the Word of God.

Tonight at 7PM we are beginning a brand new verse by verse study through the Book of John. We will take our time, dig deep into scripture, and grow together in understanding who Jesus truly is.

Whether you know the Bible well or are just beginning, there’s a seat for you.

Tacos, fellowship, and Bible study. Sounds like a pretty good Wednesday night to me.

Tonight at Line Upon Line Church we dove deep into something that every believer needs to truly understand..... The beginning of it all.

We started a verse by verse study on Mary and the birth of Jesus Christ. Not the Christmas card version, but the real, scripture-rich, life-changing truth of what actually happened when God stepped out of eternity and into a manger in Bethlehem.

We talked about who Mary really was, why God chose her, what the angel Gabriel actually said to her and what those words mean in the original Greek, and what her response of "be it unto me according to thy word" should mean for every one of us.

You can't fully understand who Jesus is without understanding where He came from and how He got here. The birth of Christ is not just a story told at Christmas time. It is the foundation of everything we believe.

We are not done yet. Come back and finish it with us.

So many Christians today have unintentionally made the building the church.

The stage. The lights. The music. The crowd size. The production.

But the church was never supposed to be about any of that.

We are the church.

It doesn't matter if you gather in a multi million dollar sanctuary or an old mechanic’s garage. What matters is the people. What matters is the atmosphere. What matters is reverence. What matters is worship. What matters is truth.

Most importantly, what matters is Him.

The church is not a show to attend, it is a body to belong to. It's people loving God, loving one another, growing in His Word, and being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to the community around them.

Today we were so blessed to be able to serve the veterans at the veterans center on Memorial Day.

It was truly an honor to spend this day with men who have sacrificed so much for our country, and to simply be present with those for whom this day may carry grief, memories, and heavy emotions.

Our church was honored to provide BBQ and BBQ chicken for the veterans to enjoy, and we are so thankful for our church family who helped make that possible through their generosity and willingness to serve. Your giving allowed us to bless and love on some very special people today.

We are thankful for every conversation, every smile, and every opportunity to show the love of Christ through service. Please continue to pray for our veterans, their families, and all those remembering loved ones today.

There is just something special about gathering around the table before service. Yesterday for Pentecost Sunday, we enjoyed some good BBQ, burgoo, great fellowship, and even better company.

Church is more than just a service, it is family. Laughing together, eating together, growing together, and worshipping together.

Thankful for everyone who came and helped make it such a wonderful day at Line Upon Line Church. ❤️

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We also want to say that we are praying especially for those whom this day feels heavy for; the families, friends, brothers and sisters in arms, and all who carry grief and memories today.

Line Upon Line Church will be spending the day at the Veteran’s Center serving dinner and doing our best to bring comfort, encouragement, and prayer to those who may be hurting. We would appreciate your prayers as we serve and minister today, that the love of Christ would be felt by every person we encounter.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

🔥 PENTECOST SUNDAY AT LINE UPON LINE CHURCH 🔥

Join us this Sunday, May 24th, for a powerful night of worship, fellowship, and expectation!

Come hungry, in more ways than one. We will be serving a Potluck Dinner at 4 PM, so bring a dish if you can, bring your appetite either way, and enjoy some great food and fellowship before service.

Then at 6 PM, come expecting God to move in our Pentecost Sunday Service. We are believing for a powerful move of the Holy Ghost, strong worship, and life changing preaching.

Whether you have been in church your whole life or have never stepped foot in one, you are welcome here.
