Henderson Memorial Baptist Church

Henderson Memorial Baptist Church Reaching, Teaching, Sending Our fellowship has a rich history of sensing where God is working and then joining His invitation to become involved in that work.

From our humble beginnings in 1963, when members of Second Baptist Church saw the community growing and needing another house of worship at this location, to the present - we have been committed to spreading the message of God's love in our town, our county, our state and in countries around the globe

The Bible tells us that a church is made up of people, not bricks and mortar. The people that ma

ke up Henderson Memorial would like to invite you to join our fellowship as we ask God to transform our lives, our families, and our world. Come let God's love flood your soul, let Christ's forgiveness set you free, and let the Holy Spirit equip and guide you as we walk together through this journey called life.

Good morning, Church! ❤️

It’s midweek, and maybe you’re already tired. The bills are still due, work has been stressful, the kids have been a handful, or you’ve been carrying something quietly that nobody else knows about.

Here’s your reminder: you don’t have to have everything figured out today. God is still with you in the middle of the mess, the unanswered questions, and the ordinary moments.

Take it one day at a time. Pray when you can. Rest when you need to. Give yourself some grace—and keep trusting God with what you can’t control.

You’ve made it this far, Church. Keep going. 🙏🏽❤️

What can we pray with you about today?

⛪ THIS DAY IN CHURCH HISTORY | SEPTEMBER 7

In 1823, missionary Samuel Marsden survived a shipwreck while returning from New Zealand to Australia.

Years earlier, Marsden had carried the Gospel to New Zealand, preaching to the Māori on Christmas Day 1814.

His journey reminds us: Following God doesn’t promise an easy road—it calls us to remain faithful on the road He gives us.

📖 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

What might God be calling you to remain faithful to today? 🙏

One of the most meaningful things about morning worship is the reset it gives your heart—before the week gets loud, you gather with God’s people and remember who God is and who you belong to. 🙌

There’s something powerful about beginning a new week with prayer, worship, the Word, and community.

What’s your favorite thing about Sunday morning worship? ❤️⛪

Jesus is called the cornerstone because everything in our faith is built on Him.

“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” — Psalm 118:22

He isn’t simply part of the foundation—He is the One who gives the whole foundation its strength and direction. (See Ephesians 2:20.)

When life shifts, culture changes, and circumstances shake us, Jesus remains steady.

Build your life on the Cornerstone. ✝️

⛪ ONE DAY AWAY FROM SUNDAY!

Tomorrow isn’t just another day—it’s an opportunity to gather, worship, pray, and be reminded that we don’t have to walk through life alone. ❤️

Come as you are. Bring your family. Bring a friend. Bring whatever kind of week you’ve had.

There’s a place for you.

🙏 Who’s one person you can reach out to TODAY and personally invite to sit with you at church tomorrow?

IT’S FRIDAY, CHURCH… BUT SUNDAY IS COMING! 🙌

Whatever this week brought—victories, struggles, exhaustion, or joy—Sunday is a new opportunity to gather, worship, pray, and be reminded of the hope we have in Jesus.

Don’t just let Sunday happen. Decide today: I’m going to church. ⛪️❤️

Who are you bringing with you?
